Admit a student
Admit an applicant and convert them into an enrolled student in UniFlow.
About this task
The admissions workflow ensures that:
- Applications are reviewed.
- Offers are issued.
- Accepted students are recorded as official students.
Only users with the Admissions Officer role can admit students.
Before you begin
Make sure:
- The applicant has submitted an application.
- All required documents are uploaded.
- The application status is Under Review.
Procedure
- Log in to UniFlow.
- Go to Admissions → Applications.
- Search for the applicant.
- Click the applicant’s name to open their profile.
- Verify the information.
If information is missing, request it before proceeding.
- Click Actions → Issue Offer.
- Select:
- Program
- Term
- Tuition plan
- Click Send Offer.
Result: UniFlow emails the offer letter to the applicant.
- If the applicant accepts:
- Open the applicant record.
- Click Convert to Student.
Result
UniFlow:
- Creates a student profile.
- Assigns a student ID.
- Links the student to the selected program and term.
What happens next
Once admitted, the student can:
- Enroll in courses.
- Receive a tuition invoice.
- Appear in academic and financial reports.
